You can do an experiment at home with a wooden, plastic and metal spoon. Find out which one is a thermal conductor.

Experiment.
Cover a container of hot water with different materials. For example cotton, paper, foil etc. After 10 mins find out which one is the hottest. Use a thermometer. Which is the best thermal insulator?
